How genetics influences Parkinson’s and how it may change clinical care.

Stephen Mullin is a Neurologist interested in how genetics can be used to develop new treatments and improve care for people with Parkinson’s. He ran the first genetically targeted clinical trial of a drug designed to slow down Parkinson’s and created pdfrontline.com, a UK internet based portal to allow people with Parkinson’s to undergo genetic testing for the most common genetic risk factors for Parkinson’s. He also has an interest is using genetics and other tests to understand who is at high risk of developing Parkinson’s in the future.

  • Use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others
  • Post prejudiced comments or profanity
  • Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members

We will take action when we see someone violating these guidelines. We request that all community members report behaviour that violates our guidelines to a member of the PD Warrior Team.
